dnnyo asked:
the question is if 1 guy bets , the 2nd guy raises, and the 3rd guy says ‘call’,
can the 1st guy reraise or does the ‘call’ stop the raising?
because if guy 3 says ’see’ then betting continues, so why is the word ‘call’ used?
the argument was , the 3rd guy wanted to stop further raising from the other 2 guys by calling,
and i believe you can say ‘i’ll see your $bet’
without raising, right?

Calling a bet means just putting in the same amount. Seeing a bet means you’re putting in that amount, and then raising another amount.
In your instance, the first guy would have to put in at least an amount to equal the raise of the second guy; he could also raise.
calling is when you bet the same price as the last player. when you see, you bet and then raise. the common phrase is like “I’ll see your $150, and raise you $500, so the price now is $650.
I deal poker and in a fixed limit game of 2-4 the first guy bets 2, and the 2nd guy raises it to 4, and the third guy calls, then the first guy can raise it up to 6 dollars. Just because he called doesn’t close the action to the first player, he can either call the bet to 4 or raise it up to 6 in that case another raise to 8 can be made. When you say call or i see your bet is a verbal declaration, so even if you put out a raise and you had already said call or see you lose your option to raise the pot.
