Question about different variations of poker?

JudasHero asked:

I have a home game going about once a week and we always play dealer’s choice. Most of us choose Texas Hold Em (I occasionally mix it up with 7 card stud and 5 card draw) but one player loves changing the game up every time. He’s introduced us to a lot of variations, some of which I’ve liked: Pineapple, Omaha Hi, Lowball and Anaconda. Does anyone know:
a) any online poker sites that offer these games? (I realize Omaha is quite popular, so exclude that one from this question)
b) Any sites that offer strategy on these variations?

As a side question, can anyone explain what a “triple draw” game is? For instance, on Poker Stars, they offer 2-7 Triple Draw.

macvenom@sbcglobal.net asked:

While playing Seven Card Stud on Party Poker.Com, I noticed that sometimes the seventh card is dealt face up on the table & all players use that card. Yet, most of the time each player is dealt a seventh card face down. What causes the seventh card to be one card shared by all?
For “No Nickname”: I’m really not stupid. I am an expert at some poker games, including Hole Em. 7 Card Stud is dealt 2 Down cards, followed by 3rd Street, 4th Street, 5th Street, 6th street & finally the 7th card face down is called “River”. My question is about the 7th card played on “Party Poker.com” & possibly in 7 Card Srud in general.
Also for Kenny: My question is not about whether there is a “River” card or not. It is only about the 7th card in 7 Card Stud. If you can answer my question, it would be appreciated.
For two_eight & others: No need to get nasty. Log on to PartyPoker.net & play 7 card stud. You will see that the 7th card is called “River” & is most often dealt face down. Read my question & I would appreciate an educated answer. One theory is that occasionally, there may not be enough cards left in a 52 card deck to cover all players & that could be when a single 7th card is dealt face up. I don’t know this for a fact. Just looking for the correct answer.
Thanks to all! I found the answer in the rule book: 9). There aren’t enough cards to continue playing our hand. How do we deal the rest of the hand?
When there aren’t enough cards to continue playing the hand and all cards have been dealt except for the last card, which should be part of the burn cards, the dealer must use the burn cards. He will shuffle them, cut them, burn a card, and then deal the remaining cards to the players. If there are not enough cards to cover the remaining players then the dealer will not burn the top card so that all of the players will receive an unused card. If there are not enough unused cards for all of the remaining players, then a community card will be laid out on the table that will apply for use in everybody’s hand. The player who has the highest hand, including the community card, will begin the action for the final betting round.
I also found that the last card dealt in ANY poker game is referred to as the “River Card”

Where would you recommend for live games?

JudasHero asked:

I’m looking to head to the US next summer and maybe play in some live tournaments. Thus far I’ve only played online and in home games. I’d like to go to a place where I can stay pretty cheap, and find a good variety of low buy-in (less than $100) games, preferably with a decent number of entrants. I’m into all types of poker (Texas, Omaha, 5/7 card stud, 2-7 Triple Draw, etc.), so places that offer different kinds of poker would be great, but even if they just offer Texas, no problem. Specific places would be great, so not just “go to Vegas”, but where in Vegas? Which casinos? What hotels are good? Are there any good places outside of Vegas?
