Hi

Wording was a bit confusing, but if I got it right, the 1st Vet did a smear on Sat., & said Sun. would be the best day. This would have to be a guess, based on experience. The only way to know for sure would be a test on Sun.

As far as standing for a teaser male, we forego that process, and simply A.I. on day 11, 13, & 15. We were given this info from a well established breeder, and it has worked every time for us. We found a Vet to instruct us on the proper way to A.I., and do it ourselves, as we do not have a Vet close that does this procedure. We do Vaginal deposit, and I'm not sure sure which method you chose, so I'm including an article that may be helpful.

Best of luck.

As you stated in your post, the female is just coming into "Heat" I'll tell you, it takes 2 weeks for them to come into heat and took weeks to get out of heat... one that 7th day the male dog will breed her.. Its not something that you can force them into doing, its a dog thing, just put them together and let them be.. I have a couple of dogs that don't like to be watched and then I have another dog that could care less.. GOOD LUCK

I really think you should find a breeding mentor FIRST and ask them questions.

This is a serious thing, not to be taken lightly!!!

You've posted several questions, and Y!A is NOT the place to find breding info.

Yes to both questions, but a word of advice on a "teaser" male. You must be very careful! If both parties are willing, you could end up with an accidental breeding. I would put b**ch panties on your girl before introducing the "teaser".
